Donald Trump Jr., eldest son of billionaire businessman and Republican nominee Donald Trump, delivered a rousing speech to the GOP convention on Tuesday night.
The speech was so good, and delivered so eloquently yet forcefully, that it prompted many observers to suggest that Trump Jr. has a future of his own in politics, one that was started by that speech.
In fact, the New York Post boldly proclaimed that Trump Jr. could very well be the next mayor of New York City, should he decide to forgo the family business and run for elected office.
“Maybe when the kids get out of school, I would consider it,” the 38-year-old father of five young children said when asked about the possibility during a Wall Street Journal-sponsored breakfast on Wednesday morning.
Political pundit and focus group coordinator Frank Luntz asked 18 participants who had watched Trump Jr.’s speech what their opinion of it was, and found that 15 of them thought he should make the leap into politics and serve in an elected office.
“He was so good, they felt his father should take lessons from him. They felt he humanized his father,” Luntz said to the Post. “I’ve been doing this since 1992, I’ve never seen a kid do so well. Reagan’s kids were not nearly as good.”
“He’s more articulate than his dad — no doubt about it,” declared former GOP New York Sen. Alfonse D’Amato. “He’s made a name for himself in business and politics.”
Of course, not everyone was willing to admit how impressive both Trump Jr. and his speech were, as the liberal media has searched high and low for a means in which to discredit him, settling on yet another baseless and debunked accusation of plagiarism.
Funny how the liberal media rarely attacks on the merits of one’s arguments, and almost always attack via some tangential issue that is relatively meaningless in the big picture.
It will be interesting to see if Donald Trump Jr. really does one day follow in the footsteps of his father once more, making the move from a successful private enterprise to the world of politics.

Do you agree that Donald Trump Jr. quite likely has a future ahead of him in politics?
And by all means all patriots need one: Go for it:)
