This Hollywood A-LISTER Defends Gun Rights, Admits He’s Had a Gun Since He was SIX

Hollywood is filled with useful idiots who, despite being rich themselves, rant and rave against the rich and dutifully carry the message of the nation’s socialists who call themselves “progressives.”
They pose for photo-ops and crusade for causes such as increased education spending and for the environment, but seldom practice what they preach.

One Hollywood power-couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, are often seen as Hollywood royalty but also, at the same time, somewhat out-of-step with the rest of Hollywood. Though they have maintained some liberal positions, they have also taken some refreshingly conservative positions.

For example, Brad Pitt recently revealed that he not only owns and uses firearms, but that he has done so since the age of 6.

Somewhere, Michael Bloomberg is having an aneurysm…

Pitt, an Oklahoma native raised in Missouri, claimed,

“There’s a rite of passage where I grew up of inheriting your ancestors’ weapons. My brother got my dad’s. I got my grandfather’s shotgun when I was in kindergarten.”

Pitt claimed that he was given an airgun when he was 5 and inherited the shotgun when he was 6.
Not only was Pitt candid about his fondness for the ancient firearm, but he also went a step further and explained that guns are a necessity for self-defense and claimed that he doesn’t feel safe unless there’s a firearm in the house.

“The positive is that my father instilled in me a profound and deep respect for the weapon,” Pitt added.

This is an absolutely refreshing discussion to emerge from the liberal Mecca of Hollywood. While so many posture and pretend that merely being around firearms creates violence, those who support the Second Amendment maintain that violence happens in this world and that good citizens should be ready when and if violence finds them or their families.

Good for Mr. Pitt for having the courage to break free from the liberal bubble that is Hollywood and “come out of the closet” of gun ownership that the liberal movie industry imposes on working actors.
