What we need to do is abolish all redundant agencies...the only Federal agencies that are necessary are the Justice Department~Treasury Department~Defense Department~State Department~Social Security Administration and the Transportation Department... all other agencies should be left to the individual states...all Federal lands should go to the respective states in which the lands reside~ with the exception of the National Park System that is in existence today and a small Federal agency created to administer them... the National Parks Department!
The remaining Federal agencies should be cut by fifty percent in size and budget with the exception of the Department of Defense...which is in our national interest!
By doing so we could save trillions of dollars and the huge headache we now suffer from...a bloated Federal Government that was not the intention of our founding Fathers!
Now let's move on to the log jam we call congress...yes it is bloated also...states need to address this issue and limit each state to two Democrat two Republican and two Independent representatives from each state for for a total of 306 congressional representatives with a three (two year) term limit imposed!
The Senate should be limited to one Democrat one Republican and one Independent Senator for a total of 153 Senators with a two term (six year) limit imposed.
As for the SCOTUS ...Justices should be limited to a 12 year appointment and must be vetted to include a full field background check before appointment... this should also be applied to the office of President ,VP and all congressional representatives,cabinet members and staff at the level of a secret clearance!
Any and all so called 'Czars' should be prohibited as they are not found anywhere within the Constitution to be allowed and actually are a illegal entity within the government! The Constitution/Bill of Rights provides for a open government not a shadow government.
This would be a good start to return our country to the once great nation we were with a balanced budget and vetted representatives who's only purpose is to serve the electorate rather than themselves and special interests...!
