John Brennan, Alleged Obama Blackmailer, Gaining Dictatorial Power

For anyone who has done even a cursory study of Barack Obama’s life, they know that his radical Marxist views are not a recent phenomenon.  They probably go back to his Occidental days, most definitely to the New York years, where he attended at least two (and probably three) of the annual Socialist Scholars Conferences held in Manhattan.
This leftist bent continued with his association in the 1990s with the Marxist New Party; socialist-funding groups like the Woods Fund (where Obama, with Bill Ayers at the helm, doled out money to groups like ACORN); and his later connection to the anti-Iraq War movement, anti-torture movement, anti-drone movement, etc.

So when Obama ascended to power, none of us who had been doing even basic research on Obama were surprised when he surrounded himself with a gaggle of leftist ideologues. But like those picture games kids play where the question is asked “What doesn’t belong?”, it was extremely odd when Obama in 2008 put John Brennan at the top of the list to head the CIA.
For years, as part of the CIA, Brennan was knee-deep in Bush’s use of waterboarding and psychotropic drugs to gain information. He was a proponent of the Iraq War, a proponent of drones to carry out assassinations, and a Republican—all things Obama and his leftist base have fought against for years. And Obama’s leftist base was livid and demanded that Brennan’s name be withdrawn from consideration for CIA head.
Obama brought Brennan into the inner circle anyway, giving him the job of what has turned out to be a position more powerful than the CIA director. His title sounds innocuous enough: Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

Brennan, running something akin to a fiefdom with his drone assassination program, has the power to decide who lives and who dies and doesn’t have to provide evidence to any entity that the “target” presents any threat to America—even if they are an American—even if the American is living in the United States!
Investigative Reporter Michael Isikoff uncovered a secret memo, entitled “Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a U.S. Citizen who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al Qa’ida or An Associated Force.”
The memo gives the Obama Administration—in effect, Brennan—the authority to kill any American citizen at anytime for any reason without proof, without due process, and with absolutely no oversight.
But this unchecked power exercised by John Brennan is mild compared to what we learned with the recent release of an extensive book on the Benghazi consulate attack. Benghazi: The Definitive Report, released on February 12, makes the shocking claim that Obama’s chief counter-terrorism officer, John Brennan, aside from having the authority to murder American citizens, has been waging a series of secret wars in North Africa and the Middle East against Al Qaeda and Al-Qaeda-linked groups. How secret? So secret that he and his minions at JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) operated not only outside the purview of Congress, but outside the purview of the Pentagon and CIA. Former CIA head David Petraeus wasn’t even aware of Brennan’s secret wars! 


According to Benghazi: The Definitive Report, the attack on the Benghazi consulate had nothing to do with, as we were told, an amateurish anti-Muslim YouTube video leading to a “protest turned violent,” but was retaliation for John Brennan’s JSOC attacks on the Libya-based terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia.
So the question becomes: Why does a leftist ideologue President pal up with a man—John Brennan—whose ideology is the complete opposite to his?
For the answer to this, we must go back to the beginning of 2008 when it was announced that a company that no one had ever heard of—Analysis Corporation—had breached Obama’s passport file.
The incident was reported to simply be mischief, and the employee was reprimanded. We would soon find out that John Brennan, then advisor on intelligence and foreign policy to the Obama campaign, headed Analysis Corporation.
What we weren’t told at the time, however, was that Analysis Corporation (now Sotera Defense Solutions) then as now not only had access to virtually every passport of every American, but Social Security numbers (and probably birth certificates.)
We were told that Analysis Corporation was a State Department contractor. This was only partially true. Analysis Corporation was a database-crunching company focusing on national security and counterterrorism and thus worked for virtually every government entity with a connection to U.S. intelligence: CIA, FBI, DHS, etc. The Analysis Corporation was staffed by former government agents, which was why John Brennan, who had been the former second-in-command at the CIA, ran the company.

It has been theorized that the 2008 breach of Obama’s records was not in fact simply mischief by an employee, but was a cover to purge Barack Obama’s file of any reference to foreign citizenship.
What if in fact Brennan, as head of Analysis Corporation and obviously with access to Obama’s records, breached his file not to cover for him, but to blackmail him?
When John Brennan looked at Obama’s passport, his Social Security file, and possibly his birth certificate in early 2008, what exactly did he see? Something that America would find deeply disturbing? Something that would disqualify Obama from being President like the fact that Obama probably became an Indonesian citizen when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, as evidenced by Obama’s grammar school records, indicating that he was a Muslim Indonesian with the legal name of Barry Soetoro?
Is Brennan using this information to force Obama to make him CIA chief?
What exactly does Brennan gain by becoming the CIA chief? Not simply becoming the head of our spy agency. This would give him access to virtually all electronic communications: phone, email, text, video—everything—access to a database that has been in the works for years, covering every single American—an Orwellian database that was revealed by a former National Security Agency whistleblower in July of 2012.
We also know a wide-scale domestic drone program is coming. The DHS has branded it for “public safety.” Who will be in charge of this “public safety” drone program? Probably the person with the most experience with drones: John Brennan.  With access to every piece of information on every American,  able to dispatch a drone to spy on and and kill anyone at any time, he will be the most powerful person in the United States.

Senate Must Block Brennan Confirmation to CIA Director

With Hagel’s confirmation behind us, it’s high-time to take action against the last of Obama’s bad nominations: John O. Brennan as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Senate GOP members agree that John Brennan, Obama’s counterterrorism adviser, is not the man to take lead of the CIA – already a number are preparing to do the right thing and block his confirmation. (The Senate Intelligence Committee will be voting to confirm first on March 5.)
While some Republican Senators are threatening to block the nominee for bargaining purposes – they want the Obama Admin to hand over more Benghazi documents before they consent to confirm Obama’s pick – others are planning to block Brennan over his commitment (or lack thereof) to the rule of law.
Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, for example, vowed to oppose the Brennan confirmation over constitutional concerns; namely, whether or not the nominee – a major player in Obama’s lethal drone program – believes “that the President has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.”
(The Kentucky Senator, so far, has yet to receive a single response from Brennan after having dispatched to him a total of three letters.)

While both causes for blocking Obama’s nominee are wise on the part of Republican Senate members, we believe that there is greater issue that is being overlooked…
John Brennan’s intimate relationship with Islam.

John Brennan is a self-admitted friend of Islam.
This is not only fact, but also a major red-flag, considering that he is votes away from becoming – borrowing the words of CIA.gov – “the principal adviser to the President for intelligence matters related to the national security.”
Brennan has come to the defense, and even praised, Islam and its most radical tenets throughout his government and non-government career at home and abroad.
On February 13, 2010, for example, Mr. Brennan delivered a speech at the Islamic Center at New York University – at an event sponsored by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) – where he overtly applauded Islam and his personal experience with the religion while he was a college student.
In his address, see video below, he calls Islam a system of “goodness and beauty” and a religion of “peace, and tolerance, and diversity.” (In other words, he spouts out the typical liberal propaganda that is as accurate as calling apples “oranges.”)

On May 26, 2010, acting as Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security, Brennan openly came to the defense of Islam and one of its most radical tenets - jihad.
Brennan said,

“[President Obama's] strategy is absolutely clear about the threat we face. Our enemy is not “terrorism” because terrorism is but a tactic. Our enemy is not “terror” because terror is a state of mind, and as Americans we refuse to live in fear. Nor do we describe our enemy as “jihadists” or “Islamists” because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one’s community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women, and children.”

Brennan’s belief that jihad is a “legitimate” tenet of Islam that is not associated violence is flat-out wrong.

Brennan is alone in his attempt to divorce jihad and the use of violent force - ideological leaders of Islam themselves disagree with him!

Hassan al-Banna, the Muslim Brotherhood’s founder, for example, claims that violent jihad is “sound” doctrine. In his pamphlet entitled “Jihad,” he writes,

“Many Muslims today mistakenly believe that fighting the enemy is jihad asghar (a lesser jihad) and that fighting one’s ego is jihad akbar (a greater jihad). The following narration [athar] is quoted as proof: “We have returned from the lesser jihad to embark on the greater jihad.” They said: “What is the greater jihad?” He said: “The jihad of the heart, or the jihad against one’s ego.”

This narration is used by some to lessen the importance of fighting, to discourage any preparation for combat, and to deter any offering of jihad in Allah’s way. This narration is not a saheeh (sound) tradition …” 


In addition to al-Banna, the very group that hosted Brennan at NYU – the ISNA – published a 1986 article, obtained by theinvestigativeproject.org, which states:

“jihad of the sword is the actual taking up of arms against the evil situation with the intention of changing it … anyone killed in jihad is rewarded with Paradise.”

The article also notes that “a believer who participates in jihad is superior to a believer who does not.” 
Is Brennan simply naïve or is he trying to “clean up” – through false propaganda – the general perception of jihad to serve a separate purpose?
The fact is: this radical Islamic tenet has been a cause for terrorism. And that he, as the nominee for CIA director, doesn’t acknowledge this simple and apparent truth is incredibly disturbing.
The Middle East Quarterly correctly notes,

“To speak of jihad exclusively as a means of purifying oneself or one’s community reveals either ignorance or deliberate obfuscation on Brennan’s part. Jihad through war against unbelievers is rooted in the Qur’an and the Hadith (reports on the sayings and acts of Muhammad). Historian Michael Bonner in his authoritative study of jihad, Jihad in Islamic History, as well as other writers, has shown that throughout history there has been an inordinate emphasis on armed jihad, in the context of invasions and conquests and, in our day, terrorism.”

No Director of the CIA has any business whatsoever in covering-up for radical Islam or any of its principles – especially those that inspire and encourage violent acts of terror.

There is a possible explanation as to why Mr. Brennan is so much in favor of Islam: he himself is a Muslim.
There are allegations claiming that he is – allegations made by former FBI agent and author of the first counterterrorism manual, John Guandolo. Even more striking, to this day Brennan has not once come out to counter the statements.
The claim of Brennan’s conversion broke earlier this month when Guandolo told-all on the Tom Trento Radio Show. (Watch the interview here).

Guandolo said:

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia. … His conversion was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him – to recruit him – and, the fact that foreign intelligence officers recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. Government position in a foreign country, meanseither that he is a traitor … or he did it unknowingly and unwittingly.”

“[M]y contention,” said Guandolo, “is he’s wholly unfit for government service in any national security capacity … specifically unfit for the director of Central Intelligence for the United States.”
The former agent also said that Brennan had “interwoven” his life with terrorist individuals and was often the pathway for Islamic radicals – including members of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas – to enter positions in the National Security Council, the National Security Staff, and other places in government.

If Brennan is, in fact, a Muslim, then his many defenses and overt misrepresentations of radical Islam make complete sense – they are in-line with the Shi’a principle of taqiyya.
Taqiyya - a word that translates to mean “conceal” or “guard” – is the doctrine that gives Muslims license to lie in order to protect themselves or their religious goals.
David Pryce-Jones, in his book The Closed Circle: An Interpretation of the Arabs, comments:

“Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honor and status avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities, for those with the wits for it, deftly and expeditiously to convert shame into honor on their own account and vice versa for their opponents.If honor so demands, lies and cheating may become absolute imperatives.“

This Islamic doctrine goes hand-in-hand with former CIA counterintelligence officer Michael Scheur’s observation of Brennan’s character – Scheur called him an “excellent liar.”
If all of this is true — and we think it is — then John O. Brennan will use the high government post to defend not the Constitution, but Sharia Law; as director of the CIA he will act to further Islam and its global advance.

We know this because the followers of Islam recognize only one law — Sharia Law.

Constitutional Republic or Sharia Theocracy?
While religious beliefs are protected under the First Amendment, and no religious tests are required to hold public office, we must still consider Islam as far as its view of government and law.
In America under the Constitution, our law is based upon Greco-Roman, Judeo-Christian tradition. Our law recognizes that the individual is above the state, and, traditionally, sought to minimize state interference in areas of human behavior as much as possible so far as the behavior doesn’t violate Natural Law – what the Declaration of Independencecalls “the law of nature and nature’s God.” This is why our founders specifically created alimited government.

Natural law guarantees three main inalienable rights: life, liberty, and property:

1. God creates individuals in His own image and endows them with life;
2. As God is perfectly free so the individuals created in His image should be free;
3. Individuals, being free, are property of no-one: every individual belongs only to himself. Likewise, every individual is entitled to the fruits of his own labor — as labor is an extension of the body which he owns — except in cases where he would choose to consensually relinquish them.

Under Natural Law the individual is also entitled to freedom of conscience, which includes his right to practice or not practice religion.
Islamic Law - Sharia Law - on the other hand is quite the opposite.
Sharia requires a large and powerful religious state, unlike the limited government created by the Constitution. Simply, Sharia Law creates and requires theocracy.
Sharia grants no liberties except those that are in accordance with Islam, and “freedom of conscience” as we know it in the West is not permitted under institutional Islam.
In Islamic theocracies, Islam is the religion of the state and the source of all law – no piece of legislation can stand that is not in accord with Islam.

Consider the Constitution of Afghanistan as an example:

“The religion of the state of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the sacred religion of Islam…. In Afghanistan, no law can be contrary to the beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of Islam.” (Afganistan, Const. Chapter One — The State, Art. 2, 3)

Simply put: Sharia Law and Constitutional Law are incompatible. As Muslims have onlyone law the Constitution takes “second place” -
Right now we are already seeing Sharia take hold at local levels in the West – there are “Sharia Zones” in England and Norway, and similar enclaves popping-up in the United States.

Former GOP presidential candidate, Rep. Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota had done work last summer examining the infiltration of radical Muslims into the U.S. Government – Mr. Brennan, to no-one’s surprise, spoke against her efforts to do so.
If John Brennan is voted-in as director of the Central Intelligence Agency, his ascendance may be the biggest proof of Bachmann’s sentiments to date!
Not only has Brennan come to the defense of Islam time and time again throughout his career, he has also remained completely silent in regards to former FBI agent John Guandolo’s allegations that Brennan had converted to the Islamic religion while in Saudi Arabia.

As the Senate is faced with the decision to vote in favor of or against the confirmation of John O. Brennan to the post of CIA Director, they must consider his history.
Yes, Senators are right in using their votes as collateral to get papers on Benghazi – Yes, Senator Paul is right is raising the question about Brennan’s involvement with the lethal drone program – but more than anything, this is a question about allegiance: is Brennan a man who will uphold American Constitutional Law, or will he uphold Islamic Sharia Law?
We must take action and tell our elected servants to block John Brennan’s from taking the top-post at the Central Intelligence Agency!

The Bill of Rights was conspicuously absent as part of the Constitution used during the swearing-in ceremony of John Brennan as our CIA Director.

A Freudian slip?  An intentional oversight?  Or the end of accountability in our federal intelligence services?  Please see my important update below – Mat.

Patriot,
Last Friday, in a private ceremony conducted by Vice President Joe Biden, John Brennan was sworn in as our Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
 

But Brennan’s ceremony was different – quite different – from those of his predecessors.

First, John Brennan chose not to place his left hand on a Bible, which, as I’m sure you know, is the traditional ceremonial format for taking a solemn oath.

Now-Secretary Brennan instead chose to place his left hand on an original draft of the Constitution from 1787.  Brennan made the request to the National Archives because, as the White House reported, “he wanted to reaffirm his commitment to the rule of law as he took the oath of office as Director of the CIA…”

The catch is, that draft of the Constitution did not contain the Bill of Rights.  In other words, John Brennan swore to uphold the Constitution on a draft copy that didn’t include some of the most important guarantees of our individual freedoms – the first ten amendments to the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights, which were ratified in 1791.  

No freedom of speech… no establishment of religion clause… no right to bear arms… no law against unreasonable searches and seizures…. no guarantees to a speedy and public trial were in the Constitution draft upon which John Brennan swore.

During his confirmation hearings, Brennan came under fire for his refusal to answer questions on our individual liberties stemming from the Bill of Rights.  Now, we hear of this unprecedented swearing-in ceremony.  What should the American people make of it?

Is this a hidden message – or an overt message?  Secretary Brennan hasn’t commented on the uproar following the disclosure of his truly unusual request concerning the components of his swearing-in ceremony.

Another highly relevant question about the Director’s swearing-in ceremony is, why wouldn’t John Brennan take his oath on a Bible?

As you may know from my prior messages, there are credible allegations that John Brennan converted to Islam during his prolonged tenure in the Middle East.  

Now there are many observers who are questioning whether his alleged conversion to Islam would prevent him from taking his oath on a Bible.

Frank Gaffney, Jr., Founder and President of the Center for Security Policy, and a good friend of Liberty Counsel, says that being pro-Islam is the new litmus test for Obama appointees…
 

“President Obama seems to have a worrisome litmus test for staffing his new administration.  The recently installed Secretaries of State and Defense, the White House Chief of Staff, and the CIA Director all have in common an eagerness to embrace our Islamist foes.”  

And make no mistake, with the infiltration of Islam comes the oppressive Islamic legal code, Sharia.

There has never before been highly placed elected leadership in Washington, DC, whose goal is to turn our nation into a socialist state. Now, our rising generation of Americans who has seen nothing else doesn’t view that approach as a negative!

Today’s radical Leftists believe they know better than our nation’s Founders – that the Constitution is somehow outdated and/or irrelevant. 

CNN’s Piers Morgan recently declared, “Both the Bible and the Constitution were well intentioned but they are basically, inherently flawed. Hence, the need to amend it.”

++The “Progressive Left’s” vision for our nation is diametrically opposed to that of our Founders.

As Liberty Counsel has consistently stated, there is a distinct pattern to the Left’s attacks on the constitutionally prescribed checks and balances at the heart of our government.

Our enemy is not "terror" because terror is a state of mind, and as Americans we refuse to live in fear. Nor do we describe our enemy as "jihadists" or "Islamists" because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women, and children."

Brennan's belief that jihad is a "legitimate" tenet of Islam that is not associated violence is flat-out wrong.

Brennan is alone in his attempt to divorce jihad and the use of violent force - ideological leaders of Islam themselves disagree with him!

Hassan al-Banna, the Muslim Brotherhood's founder, for example, claims that violent jihad is "sound" doctrine. In his pamphlet entitled "Jihad," he writes,

"Many Muslims today mistakenly believe that fighting the enemy is jihad asghar (a lesser jihad) and that fighting one's ego is jihad akbar (a greater jihad). The following narration [athar] is quoted as proof: "We have returned from the lesser jihad to embark on the greater jihad." They said: "What is the greater jihad?" He said: "The jihad of the heart, or the jihad against one's ego."

This narration is used by some to lessen the importance of fighting, to discourage any preparation for combat, and to deter any offering of jihad in Allah's way. This narration is not a saheeh (sound) tradition ..."

In addition to al-Banna, the very group that hosted Brennan at NYU - the ISNA - published a 1986 article, obtained by theinvestigativeproject.org, which states:

"jihad of the sword is the actual taking up of arms against the evil situation with the intention of changing it ... anyone killed in jihad is rewarded with Paradise."

The article also notes that "a believer who participates in jihad is superior to a believer who does not."

Is Brennan simply naïve or is he trying to "clean up" - through false propaganda - the general perception of jihad to serve a separate purpose?

The fact is: this radical Islamic tenet has been a cause for terrorism. And that he, as the nominee for CIA director, doesn't acknowledge this simple and apparent truth is incredibly disturbing.

The Middle East Quarterly correctly notes,

"To speak of jihad exclusively as a means of purifying oneself or one's community reveals either ignorance or deliberate obfuscation on Brennan's part. Jihad through war against unbelievers is rooted in the Qur'an and the Hadith (reports on the sayings and acts of Muhammad). Historian Michael Bonner in his authoritative study of jihad, Jihad in Islamic History, as well as other writers, has shown that throughout history there has been an inordinate emphasis on armed jihad, in the context of invasions and conquests and, in our day, terrorism."

No Director of the CIA has any business whatsoever in covering-up for radical Islam or any of its principles - especially those that inspire and encourage violent acts of terror.



There is a possible explanation as to why Mr. Brennan is so much in favor of Islam: he himself is a Muslim.

There are allegations claiming that he is - allegations made by former FBI agent and author of the first counterterrorism manual, John Guandolo. Even more striking, to this day Brennan has not once come out to counter the statements.

The claim of Brennan's conversion broke earlier this month when Guandolo told-all on the Tom Trento Radio Show. (Watch the interview here).

Guandolo said:

"Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia. ... His conversion was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him - to recruit him - and, the fact that foreign intelligence officers recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. Government position in a foreign country, means either that he is a traitor ... or he did it unknowingly and unwittingly."

"[M]y contention," said Guandolo, "is he's wholly unfit for government service in any national security capacity ... specifically unfit for the director of Central Intelligence for the United States."

The former agent also said that Brennan had "interwoven" his life with terrorist individuals and was often the pathway for Islamic radicals - including members of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas - to enter positions in the National Security Council, the National Security Staff, and other places in government.


If Brennan is, in fact, a Muslim, then his many defenses and overt misrepresentations of radical Islam make complete sense - they are in-line with the Shi'a principle of taqiyya.

Taqiyya - a word that translates to mean "conceal" or "guard" - is the doctrine that gives Muslims license to lie in order to protect themselves or their religious goals.

David Pryce-Jones, in his book The Closed Circle: An Interpretation of the Arabs, comments:

"Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honor and status avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities, for those with the wits for it, deftly and expeditiously to convert shame into honor on their own account and vice versa for their opponents. If honor so demands, lies and cheating may become absolute imperatives."

This Islamic doctrine goes hand-in-hand with former CIA counterintelligence officer Michael Scheur's observation of Brennan's character - Scheur called him an "excellent liar."

If all of this is true -- and we think it is -- then John O. Brennan will use the high government post to defend not the Constitution, but Sharia Law; as director of the CIA he will act to further Islam and its global advance.

We know this because the followers of Islam recognize only one law -- Sharia Law.


Constitutional Republic or Sharia Theocracy?

While religious beliefs are protected under the First Amendment, and no religious tests are required to hold public office, we must still consider Islam as far as its view of government and law.

In America under the Constitution, our law is based upon Greco-Roman, Judeo-Christian tradition. Our law recognizes that the individual is above the state, and, traditionally, sought to minimize state interference in areas of human behavior as much as possible so far as the behavior doesn't violate Natural Law - what the Declaration of Independence calls "the law of nature and nature's God." This is why our founders specifically created a limited government.

Natural law guarantees three main inalienable rights: life, liberty, and property:

1. God creates individuals in His own image and endows them with life;
2. As God is perfectly free so the individuals created in His image should be free;
3. Individuals, being free, are property of no-one: every individual belongs only to himself. Likewise, every individual is entitled to the fruits of his own labor -- as labor is an extension of the body which he owns -- except in cases where he would choose to consensually relinquish them.

Under Natural Law the individual is also entitled to freedom of conscience, which includes his right to practice or not practice religion.

Islamic Law - Sharia Law - on the other hand is quite the opposite.

Sharia requires a large and powerful religious state, unlike the limited government created by the Constitution. Simply, Sharia Law creates and requires theocracy.

Sharia grants no liberties except those that are in accordance with Islam, and "freedom of conscience" as we know it in the West is not permitted under institutional Islam.

In Islamic theocracies, Islam is the religion of the state and the source of all law - no piece of legislation can stand that is not in accord with Islam.

Consider the Constitution of Afghanistan as an example:

"The religion of the state of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the sacred religion of Islam.... In Afghanistan, no law can be contrary to the beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of Islam." (Afganistan, Const. Chapter One -- The State, Art. 2, 3)

Simply put: Sharia Law and Constitutional Law are incompatible. As Muslims have only one law the Constitution takes "second place" -

Right now we are already seeing Sharia take hold at local levels in the West - there are "Sharia Zones" in England and Norway, and similar enclaves popping-up in the United States.



Former GOP presidential candidate, Rep. Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota had done work last summer examining the infiltration of radical Muslims into the U.S. Government - Mr. Brennan, to no-one's surprise, spoke against her efforts to do so.

If John Brennan is voted-in as director of the Central Intelligence Agency, his ascendance may be the biggest proof of Bachmann's statements to date!

Not only has Brennan come to the defense of Islam time and time again throughout his career, he has also remained completely silent in regards to former FBI agent John Guandolo's allegations that Brennan had converted to the Islamic religion while in Saudi Arabia.

As the Senate is faced with the decision to vote in favor of or against the confirmation of John O. Brennan to the post of CIA Director, they must consider his history.

Yes, Senators are right in using their votes as collateral to get papers on Benghazi - Yes, Senator Paul is right is raising the question about Brennan's involvement with the lethal drone program - but more than anything, this is a question about allegiance: is Brennan a man who will uphold American Constitutional Law, or will he uphold Islamic Sharia Law?

We must take action and tell our elected servants to block John Brennan's from taking the top-post at the Central Intelligence Agency!

John Brennan's Spooky Swearing-In

President Obama's choice to be Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) was approved by the Senate on a vote of 63-34, with thirteen Republicans voting to confirm him. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) created quite a stir with his 13-hour filibuster against the Brennan nomination. Not until he received written assurances from Attorney General Eric Holder that U.S. citizens would not be targeted for killing by drones on U.S. soil would the doughty
Kentuckian stand down. Good for him. 


John Brennan then proceeded to take the Oath of Office, as administered by Vice President Joe Biden. Director Brennan then did something no other officer has done, something that occasioned its own measure of controversy. Brennan was sworn in on an original copy of the Constitution. It was a very august occasion, to be sure, but it was also a mysterious one.

For the man who will be America's spymaster, it was an odd move for him to stir up trouble. If spies are said to be "spooks," our top spy's action was, well, "spooky."

Civil libertarians left and right were quick to point out that the 1787 Constitution did not include a Bill of Rights. Critics were right to be vigilant , especially when our spymaster has been so intimately associated with choosing targets for drone attacks. The Fifth Amendment says "no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law." That guarantee should certainly apply to Americans here at home. Similarly, the Fourth Amendment's safeguards against unreasonable searches and seizures need to be underscored.

But there was little notice of the fact that the First Amendment provides for No Establishment of Religion. This was conspicuously not a part of the Constitution that Brennan chose to swear to uphold. 


The Constitution of 1787 did not afford that guarantee, but it did give all Americans protection from religious tests for office. Thus, even without a Bill of Rights, Article VI, Sec. 3 provides that: "...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."
As a result, Brennan's opponents on Capitol Hill scrupulously avoided questioning him about his religion. That was as it should be. We have consistently opposed such religious tests when applied to men and women of our faith.
Still, John Brennan fueled rumors when he defended jihad as a legitimate expression of Islam. He has spoken of "our Saudi partners." If they are our partners, then he should have been asked why the Crown Prince Abdullah refused Vice President Al Gore's personal request in 1998 for U.S. access to al Qaeda's financial chief, Madani al Tayyib. According to the official 9/11 Commission Report, "U.S. never gained this access" to the man who might have unraveled the plot against the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
Here's something else very spooky about the Brennan Oath: How can you take an oath on the Constitution to defend the Constitution? Normally, one takes an oath with his hand on a Bible, or a Koran, on some other Scripture one holds sacred. Taking an oath to defend the Constitution by putting your hand on the Constitution is a skyhook. It is supported by nothing else. It neatly avoids the central question: Is this a valid oath? Can we rely on a person who creates such a stir by the simple act of taking an oath of office? 


John Brennan speaks eloquently of "the Majesty of the Hajj." This is the pilgrimage taken by devout Muslims to Mecca. It is a pilgrimage in which no non-Muslim is allowed to take part.

Paging Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) During a series of judicial confirmation hearings nearly a decade ago, Schumer pursued Catholic and Evangelical nominees of President Bush. He wasn't subjecting them to a religious test forbidden by the Constitution, he averred. He was simply probing the nominees' "deeply held personal convictions" which he said might disqualify them from sitting as federal judges.
Where was this constitutional watchdog during the Brennan hearings? The watchdog didn't bark. If any Catholic nominee had spoken of the Majesty of a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, where millions of Catholics believe the Blessed Virgin Mary has appeared, if any Evangelical nominee had spoken of his feeling of spiritual renewal from attending the Washington, D.C. "Stand in the Gap" revival of Promise Keepers in 1997, we might have expected Sen. Schumer to be grilling those candidates under oath about "deeply held personal convictions."
Not this time. Schumer joined other normally alert liberals in confirming Brennan. No wonder Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor of terrorists, took alarm at the Brennan choice: 

Making John Brennan the director of the Central Intelligence Agency is the most monumental mismatch of man and mission that I can imagine. The point of having our intelligence agencies is to make sure that we have a coherent, accurate idea of the threats that confront the United States. Unfortunately, Mr. Brennan's career, and certainly the signature that he has put on the national security component of the Obama administration has been to blind the United States to the threats against us.

McCarthy has written Willful Blindness, The Grand Jihad, and Spring Fever: The Illusion of Islamic Democracy to alert Americans to the dangers we face.
What binding force can this Brennan oath have, anyway? Although millions of us would agree with James Madison and George Washington that Providence guided our drafting and peaceful adoption of the Constitution, few of us would contend that the document itself--whether the 1787 original version, or the 1791 version with the Bill of Rights included -- is Holy Writ.
George Washington warned us about the loss of faith that can undermine a republic: "Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths?" 

George Washington knew something about oaths. He took the first presidential oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" with his hand firmly placed on the Bible. In front of a cloud of witnesses in New York City, he kissed the Bible.
This strange episode gives us no sense of security. Can we trust our property, our reputation, our lives to such a man and such a spooky oath?

“Breitbart.com reported Thursday that sources told the site that one of the reasons for the suspension of Chuck Hagel’s nomination hearing earlier this week is that among the many names identified in documents as having provided foreign funding to him is a group called “Friends of Hamas.”
According to CBS News, the suspension “according to those working with Hagel and the White House, is to give Hagel through the coming weekend to comply with GOP document requests. The White House does not expect startling revelations and therefore sees no political threat in document requests.”

Hagel has thus far refused to disclose the foreign funding he has received for his various organizations to the Senate Armed Forces Committee, claiming he has a “fiduciary duty” to keep “confidentiality” of his and his organization’s donors. Hagel’s discretion has led to speculation as to what, exactly, he is unwilling to reveal.
According to a senate aide, senators have “specific concerns with regard to foreign contributions to the Atlantic Council by Saad Hariri (or the Hariri family), Dinu Patriciu, Kazakhstan, and Bidzina Ivanishvili.” But according to a senate source who spoke to Breitbart News, Hagel has also received money from an organization called “Friends of Hamas.”
In seeking comment on the story, Breitbart ran into some difficulties :

No Bible for Brennan swearing in

When Obama security adviser John Brennan was sworn into office as chief of the Central Intelligence Agency, he put his hand not on a Bible, but on a copy of the Constitution – before it included the Bill of Rights.
The White House said of the controversial appointee, whose position in office was filibustered by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul this week for nearly 13 hours, “Brennan was sworn in with his hand on an original draft of the Constitution, dating from 1787, which has George Washington’s personal handwriting and annotations on it.”
A report in the Weekly Standard said Vice President Joe Biden performed the ceremony in the White House Roosevelt Room.

The report also included an update from the emptywheel.net blog, which noted the absence of the Bill of Rights.
“When Brennan vowed to protect and defend the Constitution, he was swearing on one that did not include the First, Fourth, Fifth, or Sixth Amendments – or any of the other amendments now included in our Constitution,” the report said. “The Bill of Rights did not become part of our Constitution until 1791, four years after the Constitution that Brennan took his oath on.”
Wrote the blogger, “These vows always carry a great deal of symbolism. And whether he meant to invoke this symbolism or not, the moment at which Brennan took over the CIA happened to exclude (in symbolic form, though presumably not legally) the key limits on governmental power that protect American citizens.”
Olivier Knox, at Yahoo.com, pointed out that symbolism was part of the event.
“Hours after CIA Director John Brennan took the oath of office – behind closed doors, far away from the press, perhaps befitting his status as America’s top spy – the White House took pains to emphasize the symbolism,” he wrote.
“‘There’s one piece of this that I wanted to note for you,’ spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at their daily briefing. ‘Director Brennan was sworn in with his hand on an original draft of the Constitution that had George Washington’s personal handwriting and annotations on it, dating from 1787.’”

The report said Earnest confirmed Brennan had asked for a document from the National Archives “because he wanted to reaffirm his commitment to the rule of law as he took the oath of office.”
Knox also wrote about the absence of the Bill of Rights in the document.
“That means: No freedom of speech and of the press, no right to bear arms, no Fourth Amendment ban on ‘unreasonable searches and seizures,’ and no right to a jury trial,” the report said.
Paul had been filibustering Brennan’s nomination because the Obama administration had made statements that the president might have the authority to order lethal drone strikes on Americans on U.S. soil. Brennan worked with Obama’s overseas drone program, which has killed hundreds, while security adviser.
Attorney General Eric Holder told Paul in response to a question from the senator that the U.S. never has carried out a drone strike against a U.S. citizen on American soil and it would be “unlikely.”
However, Holder also said he could not rule it out entirely.
“It is possible, I suppose, to imagine an extraordinary circumstance in which it would be necessary and appropriate under the Constitution and applicable laws of the United States for the president to authorize the military to use lethal force within the territory of the United States,” Holder’s letter said.

He confirmed Obama “has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial.”
In the later letter to Paul, after the filibuster, Holder said, “It has come to my attention that you have now asked an additional question: ‘Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil?’ The answer to that question is no.”
Another angle on why Brennan might not have wanted to swear his oath on the Bible relates to a shocking report by one of the FBI’s former top experts on Islam, who says Brennan actually converted to Islam years ago while living in Saudi Arabia.
As WND reported, former FBI Islam expert John Guandolo has long warned that the federal government is being infiltrated by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. But Guandolo now warns that by appointing Brennan to CIA director, Obama has not only chosen a man “naïve” to these infiltrations, but also picked a candidate who is himself a Muslim.
“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either [is] a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”
Brennan did indeed serve as CIA station chief in Riyadh in the 1990s and he has held the official title of Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism. On Jan. 7, Obama nominated Brennan as the next director of the CIA.
“Are you kidding me?” Trento balked at Guandolo’s allegations. “The head of the CIA is a Muslim? For real? … Are you sure?”
“Yes I am,” Guandolo asserted. “The facts of the matter are confirmed by U.S. government officials who were also in Saudi Arabia at the time that John Brennan was serving there and have direct knowledge. These are men who work in very trusted positions, they were direct witnesses to his growing relationship with the individuals who worked for the Saudi government and others and they witnessed his conversion to Islam.”

A former Marine and combat veteran, Guandolo worked for eight years in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division as a “subject matter expert” in the Muslim Brotherhood and the global spread of Islamism. Guandolo boasts he created the Bureau’s first counterterrorism training/education program and twice received United States Attorney’s Awards for investigative intelligence.
Guandolo is also one of the authors of the Center for Security Policy’s Team B II report, “Shariah: The Threat to America.”

“My contention is that [Brennan] is wholly unfit for government service in any national security capacity, and that would specifically make him unfit to be the director of Central Intelligence,” Guandolo told Trento.
Guandolo then broke down a three-part argument against Brennan’s confirmation.
“The first is he has interwoven his life professionally and personally with individuals that we know are terrorists,” Guandolo asserted. “He has overseen and approved and encouraged others to bring known leaders of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood into the government in positions to advise the U.S. government on counterterrorism strategy as well as the overall ‘war on terror.’”

Second, Guandolo asserted, Brennan has “proven through his own comments publicly that he is clueless and grossly ignorant of al-Qaida’s strategy.
“Third and finally, which some would say is most disturbing, is Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam,” Guandolo said, but stressed, “I think the [larger] news is that that conversion is the culmination of the work of people in Saudi Arabia who worked for the Saudi government – and that makes John Brennan just naïve, foolish, dangerously ignorant and totally unfit for this position.
“That in and of itself, again, shouldn’t be shocking to people,” Guandolo continued. “Mr. Brennan, they have the clip where he specifically says during a public address … he said during that speech that he has learned and gets his understanding and his ‘worldview’ in large part from Islam. It shouldn’t be a large leap to imagine he’s converted to Islam.”

The FBI is looking into claims that CIA Director John Brennan's personal AOL email was hacked

The FBI is looking into claims that CIA Director John Brennan's personal AOL email was hacked, a law enforcement source confirmed to Fox News.
An anonymous hacker, who spoke to the New York Post, earlier claimed to have breached Brennan's personal account and had posted documents online, including a list of email addresses purportedly from Brennan's contact file.
A CIA spokesman said they are aware of the claims: "We are aware of the reports that have surfaced on social media and have referred the matter to the appropriate authorities.''
An FBI representative declined to comment on the reports.
The New York Post described the purported hacker in an article published Sunday as "a stoner high school student," motivated by his opposition to U.S. foreign policy and support for Palestinians. His Twitter account includes links to files that he says are Brennan's contact list, a log of phone calls by then-CIA deputy director Avril Haines, and other documents. 

The Post said he didn't reveal his name or where he lived.
The hacker also claimed to have breached a Comcast account belonging to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
One document purporting to come from Brennan's AOL email account contains a spreadsheet of people, including senior intelligence officials, along with their Social Security numbers, although the hacker redacted the numbers in the version he posted on Twitter.  It's unclear why Brennan would have stored such a document in his private email account.
Based on the titles, the document appears to date from 2009 or before.
When people visit the White House and other secure facilities, they are required to supply their Social Security numbers. Brennan could have been forwarding a list of invitees to the White House when he was President Obama's counterterrorism adviser, the job he held before he became CIA director in 2013. 

Security experts advise people not to email Social Security numbers, and some companies have software that automatically blocks an email if it detects characters in the format of a Social Security number.
The hacker told the Post he had obtained a 47-page version of Brennan's application for a security clearance, known as an SF86.  That document -- millions of which were stolen from the federal personnel office last year by hackers linked to China -- contains detailed information about past jobs, foreign contacts, finances and other sensitive personal details.
No such document appears to be posted on the hacker's Twitter account, but it's not clear whether the hacker posted it elsewhere.
