Dear Liberals, about this transgender thing: don’t you think you might be just a little bit crazy?

It is fairly obvious that you see the presence of Christians in this country as getting in the way of achieving your dreams for society—which requires the criminalization of all dissent.
Isn’t it time you thought critically about your own agenda? It seems to us Christians (and perhaps to others) that avoiding critical thought is a daily requirement for your life. I just want to write to you about one instance, having to do with the big civil rights victory for Photoshop: the person who can change his name but not his gender, “Miss” Jenner.

I’ve written about Paul McHugh before. He was the psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital when they were pioneering alleged “sex change operations”—or to Photoshop it a bit more, “sexual reassignment surgery.” They stopped doing it. I recently found an older piece by McHugh and he said something in it that I think you need to consider:

I have learned from the experience that the toughest challenge is trying to gain agreement to seek empirical evidence for opinions about sex and sexual behavior, even when the opinions seem on their face unreasonable. One might expect that those who claim that sexual identity has no biological or physical basis would bring forth more evidence to persuade others. But as I’ve learned, there is a deep prejudice in favor of the idea that nature is totally malleable. Without any fixed position on what is given in human nature, any manipulation of it can be defended as legitimate. 

I read someone who mentioned that we live in a world where gender is allegedly fluid and undefined (except by evil imposition from “outside”) and sexual “orientation” is absolutely fixed and unchangeable.
That is correct; it is your Liberal world. Way to dominate!
But think about that for a minute.
Offer to cut off a man’s penis and leave an opening there, or close up a woman’s vagina and use her skin to make a protrusion, and you are a human rights hero.
Offer to help someone who wants to get married to the opposite sex and have a family with children, but is hampered in the pursuit of that goal by same-sex erotic thoughts, and you are a moral monster—a hater and a bigot.
Yes, dear Liberals, that is obviously completely sane and rational. The only thing that could possibly prevent us from agreeing with you is our allegiance to ancient superstition. If we didn’t believe Jesus rose from the dead, this would all make immediate sense to us.

But, hey, the glossy Photoshop job on Jenner looked all glamorous, so what do we know? Gaze at his boobs for awhile and any unpleasant thoughts this post may be stirring up will go away.
Did it ever occur to you, dear Liberals, that you are reversing cause and effect by blaming religion for opposing your vision for society?
Maybe so many people continue to believe because you show that the alternative is insane self-destruction and slavery.
