Left behind in Iraq: thousands of contractors

By National Security Producer Jamie Crawford
With the removal of all U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of the year looking more likely, absent an agreement to extend legal immunity, a large contingent of U.S. contractors will still remain facing their own legal and logistical ambiguities and challenges.
The complexity of the situation is not lost on top officials at the State Department who are busy preparing to assume control of every U.S. responsibility in Iraq – including contracting operations.
"The State Department is doing something that quite frankly we have never done before, this is not going to be easy and I think we all understand that," Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides told CNN.
"We owe it to the families (who have lost loved ones in Iraq), and to the taxpayers to get this transition done correctly," he added.

Racial Profiling..Criminal profiling one and the same...!

Let's put this to rest and stop all the Law Suits...the ACLU by definition profiles all their cases {ie: religion of the Christian belief and favors minorities over whites...just a fact]...are they guilty also? Profiling means Law Enforcement looks at the most likely source./MO of a a crime so if one is looking for illegals crossing the border from Mexico who should they look at Scottish in Plaid skirts? or if LE is looking for drug smugglers who should they look at the local Boy Scout or Brownie troops in the area?

LE has used profiling for serial killers...if they fit a certain pattern those with that look be it white, black, brown or any other color/race the suspect would fall under would be scrutinized!
Most Terrorist today are of Islamic countries origin...so should we profile them or Swedish ladies from the chocolate factories?
This must stop folks we must stop tying the hands of LE for the sake of PC ...and we must prosecute the ACLU under the RICO Statues...The ACLU was formed under the CPUSA banner...and still has ties to the same..wake the hell up! This continued PC mentality will kill us all!

Supreme Court upholds voter ID law

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that states can require voters to produce photo identification without violating their constitutional rights, validating Republican-inspired voter ID laws.
In a splintered 6-3 ruling, the court upheld Indiana's strict photo ID requirement, which Democrats and civil rights groups said would deter poor, older and minority voters from casting ballots. Its backers said it was needed to prevent fraud.

Ex-lesbian: Obama destroying traditional families

A former lesbian and leader of a Christian ministry says the current generation is embracing and advocating for homosexuality like never before, and it's because "Barack Obama is using his influence, and the financial power of the government, to promote it."
That word comes from Janet Boynes of Janet Boynes Ministries, which states up-front that its goal is to "minister to individuals who question their sexuality or who wish to leave homosexuality. JBM will seek to inform and challenge churches and society about the issues surrounding sexuality and teach how to minister to the homosexual community."
She told WND that many "young and naïve secularists" are busy following Obama's leading on his sexually permissive agenda, and the result of that will lead "to the demise of traditional values and families," she said.
The Obama agenda also "propagates the attack of Judeo-Christian beliefs on a global level," she said.

Sarah Palin: Will she or won’t she..You decide

So, who of you are extremely excited about the candidates for POTUS? I have a couple I do like and wish that they could get their act together and start climbing in the polls. But, with what we have in the top, not many are looking at the others.
I speak of Gingrich, Romney and Paul. The media is so honed in on them we don’t really get a sense of the others: Bachmann, Perry and Santorum.
I guess Mrs. Palin feels the same way as many of us.
In an interview over the weekend Sarah stated:
she was not enthusiastic about anyone in the current GOP field.
“I don’t think that the field has to be considered set today – set and locked up,” she said. “Even beyond Iowa I think there is time for more shakeup.”
Hmm….what could she mean? Does this mean that she would reconsider entering the race? I don’t know, but she also said:
“…..it’s not too late for someone to enter the Republican presidential race.  Things can still be shaken up.  These candidates had better remember that American voters do believe that character counts …..It’s not all about politics,” she added. “It is all about value and character.”
