Ok whats wrong with this picture? MSM including FoxNews always praises WWII and ME War Vets...rarely are Korea and VietNam Vets recognized except for the usual platitudes ...'Thank you for your Service' now move aside please! Are we still chopped liver not worthy of praises...? Sure appears that way...WWII garner the most as they should []...heck my parents and relatives fought in that glorious war ' ...a few in Korea and VietNam self included...!
All we hear about is Middle East War PTSD...hello all Vets suffer from that in one way or another...I can only speak for my relatives as well as self...we fought we suffered we moved on...no MSM coverage was given [Except the usual negative platitudes]...thank God we adjusted to the return to civilian life and moved on with our lives, as all veterans have since the begining 'The Revolutionary War' forward! Now don't get me wrong veterans of the Middle East war are deserving of medical care to treat their war injuries...as are all veterans...however I am concerned about the label of PTSD being placed upon them...I see this as a tool for the current administration to deny 2nd amendment rights to returning veterans...claiming they suffer from psychological problems thus are a risk to society...anyone else see where I am coming from on this?
VietNam veterans suffered from the label...'Baby Killers' and usless and unjustified war as did Korea War veterans...all wars are hell and probably mostly unjustified... depending on which side of the fence one is on!
Ok diatribe over just wanted to add my two cents to the issue of War!
