Media finally paying attention to eligibility?

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Poll after poll in recent months has indicated that Americans have a high level of concern over Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, with one poll showing fully half of the nation wants Congress to investigate the question.

But reporters for the traditional media – networks, major newspapers, major news corporations and conglomerates – mostly have giggled when talk turns to the serious question of just what the U.S. Constitution requires of presidents.
Nevertheless, media organizations from all political persuasions are seeking admittance to a news conference to be held by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz.
The event is tomorrow at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time in Phoenix, 3 p.m. Eastern, and will be live-streamed by WND.
The topic of discussion will be an investigation by Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse into concerns about Obama’s eligibility. It’s the first time an official law enforcement report has addressed many of the allegations about the presumptive 2012 Democratic nominee for president.
The issues include Obama’s eligibility under the U.S. Constitution’s requirements, questions about his use of a Connecticut Social Security number and the image of his purported birth certificate from Hawaii.
In addition to the live-streaming, WND will make available to the public, the same day by email, the official report distributed to media by Arpaio’s investigators. Those interested in receiving the report can sign up for the free service.
Top national media organizations have indicated their plans to attend, and bookings for radio and television reports are in the works. Expected are reporters from the Associated Press, Reuters, Univision, the Washington Times and NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates, as well statewide radio networks, among many others.


Because of the circumstances, a decision was made to hold the press conference at the sheriff’s training center on the outskirts of Phoenix, rather than at the downtown office.
The event is expected to draw protesters who object to the sheriff’s office review of allegations that Obama may attempt to use a fraudulent document to have his name placed on the 2012 presidential election ballot in Arizona.
Without releasing any details, Arpaio has said the findings “could be a shock.”

Defense minister warns about Iran's 'secret weapons'

In an interview with the Fars News Agency today, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi claimed that Iran is in possession of secret weapons along with top secret capabilities that could be used to confront the United States.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has many hidden capabilities, which are kept for rainy days,” Vahidi said in the interview. “We have not yet revealed all our capabilities.”
Referring to the U.S. assets positioned in the Persian Gulf, Vahidi stated: “These days Americans badly fear that an incident happens in the region and they can’t stand against the Islamic Republic’s firm positions vis-à-vis that given event.”
Vahidi then, in an ominous warning to America, said, “Undoubtedly, since our defense is an independent and defensive one based on our own defensive policies, special defense doctrines and internal capabilities, the U.S. will face a completely new environment when [it] gets involved with the new issues that Iran is pursuing and it will be obliged to think of this new environment.”
The Iranian defense minister went on to say that the American armed forces’ passivity in a possible confrontation with the Islamic regime’s forces will be due to the fact that Iran has not shown all weapons in its arsenal. Obama's giveaway: Oil-rich islands to Russia

The Obama administration, despite the nation’s economic woes, effectively killed the job-producing Keystone Pipeline last month. The Arab Spring is turning the oil production of Libya and other Arab nations over to the Muslim Brotherhood. Iraq is distancing itself from the U.S. And everyone recognizes that Iran, whose crude supplies are critical to the European economy, will do anything it can to frustrate America’s strategic interests. In the face of all of this, Obama insists on cutting back U.S. oil potential with outrageous restrictions.

Part of Obama’s apparent war against U.S. energy independence includes a foreign-aid program that directly threatens my state’s sovereign territory. Obama’s State Department is giving away seven strategic, resource-laden Alaskan islands to the Russians. Yes, to the Putin regime in the Kremlin.
The seven endangered islands in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea include one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined. The Russians are also to get the tens of thousands of square miles of oil-rich seabeds surrounding the islands. The Department of Interior estimates billions of barrels of oil are at stake.
The State Department has undertaken the giveaway in the guise of a maritime boundary agreement between Alaska and Siberia. Astoundingly, our federal government itself drew the line to put these seven Alaskan islands on the Russian side. But as an executive agreement, it could be reversed with the stroke of a pen by President Obama or Secretary Clinton.
The agreement was negotiated in total secrecy. The state of Alaska was not allowed to participate in the negotiations, nor was the public given any opportunity for comment. This is despite the fact the Alaska Legislature has passed resolutions of opposition – but the State Department doesn’t seem to care.

Barack Obama's constitutional qualifications for the presidency have never been investigated by any law-enforcement agency.

Until now.

But that investigation by Sheriff Joe Arpaio's "Cold Case Posse" could easily be derailed for lack of financial support coupled with attacks being launched against his office by Obama's Justice Department.

That's why it is imperative for every American who questions the very legality of Obama's reign and his efforts at re-election to support Arpaio's probe in a tangible way – no matter how small.

Let me tell you why I think it's important and why I am personally making a donation to this cause.

On the very face of it, Obama is not eligible to be president. Every action he has taken under the color of authority as president should be repealed, negated and voided. If we take him at his word and accept at face value the evidence he has provided about his birth, he is simply not a "natural born citizen," as documented in Jerome Corsi's authoritative and best-selling book, "Where's the Birth Certificate?" The man he claims as his father was a Kenyan national visiting student who would have conferred foreign citizenship upon his son. The very purpose and intent of the "natural born citizen" clause of the Constitution's requirements for the presidency was to avoid any such perceptions of divided loyalty.

Worse yet, there are very grave doubts about whether his biological father was who he claims. All of Obama's biographical tales about this relationship have been called into question by the actual evidence.

Then we have the problem of Obama's apparent adoption by his mother's second husband, Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian foreign national. Obama's name was changed to Soetoro and he moved to Indonesia with his stepfather, registering for school as an Indonesian citizen. Such an adoption would have required the destruction of the original birth certificate and the issuance of a new one showing Soetoro as Obama's actual birth father. That's the way adoption law works in Hawaii and most other states. So why didn't that take place? Why was his adoption not recorded? And if it was simply never reported to Hawaiian authorities, does it in anyway change the facts?

Then we have the problem of the birth document itself. It was only released last April in response to the impending release of Corsi's devastating book, which had hit the No. 1 best-seller position. But is it genuine? To date, there is nearly 100 percent agreement among qualified forensics investigators and document experts that it is not.

What I am saying might be very shocking. It might even sound a tad bizarre given the fact that the national media treats it as such. But what I have stated here is completely factual and well documented.

In other words, the man occupying the White House today and seeking re-election next year is a political enigma, an unknown quantity, completely unvetted and certainly not eligible to serve under the Constitution's simple, straightforward requirements for office.

It is into this amazing and dangerous scenario that Sheriff Joe Arpaio fearlessly steps, backed only by his own "Cold Case Posse" of volunteer investigators.

They represent what is probably America's last chance to salvage the integrity of the Constitution for all time.

Trust me, both political parties consider the Constitution a dead letter on the matter of presidential eligibility right now and both are actively shopping candidates for president and vice president who are not qualified.

No court has looked at this matter. No government agency has. No law enforcement agency has.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio's "Cold Case Posse" is likely our last chance to get to the truth about Obama and to restore constitutional integrity to our political system.

That's why I urge you to make a donation to this active investigation right now – no matter the amount. If everyone who reads this appeal gave the minimum amount of $5, it would raise millions, far more than the necessary resources to get the job done and the truth about Obama out.

Iran prepares for kamikaze attacks

Even as it continued to talk with the U.N. nuclear watchdog, Iran continued to prepare for war over its nuclear weapons program, training for kamikaze attacks in the Persian Gulf with both planes and speedboats, sources within the Iranian armed forces report.
Tuesday the International Atomic Energy Agency called its recent talks with Iran a failure. And just days before, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, ordered the Revolutionary Guards, along with the army, on high alert, ready with conventional and unconventional means to respond to any aggression by the U.S. or Israel over its nuclear weapons program, the sources say.
The Guards’ missile commanders, in their preparation for a fierce counterattack, have mapped out all U.S. bases in the region to strike with their missiles in order to disrupt America’s air sorties, believing they will be the main thrust of any attack by America.
The Guards’ publication Mashregh, in a warning to America, revealed a detailed plan to attack U.S. bases in the region, including, in Kuwait, two air bases, Ali Al Salem and Ahmed Al Jaber, and the U.S. military camps of Buehring, Spearhead, Patriot and Arifjan. Also targeted are U.S. air bases in Afghanistan, the super U.S. base Al Adid in Qatar, its other super base at Al Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates and Thumrait Air Base in Oman.
Guards’ plans include the launch of ballistic missiles at the narrow Strait of Hormuz from deep within Iran to disrupt the flow of oil and destabilize the world economy.
Iran has the largest and most diverse ballistic missiles arsenal in the region, some with a range of over 2,000 miles, capable of either carrying a one-ton conventional payload or a nuclear warhead. The Islamic regime is currently working with China and North Korea on intercontinental ballistic missiles with a range of over 6,000 miles, capable of reaching America.
The Guards have also armed hundreds of speed boats with high explosives for suicide attacks against U.S. Navy assets and the shipping traffic in the Gulf. Sources within the Guards also reveal that the Guards have been training pilots for suicide attacks against U.S. assets in the Gulf by using smaller planes loaded with explosives.

63 illegals arrested after county sets them free

Prisons in Santa Clara County, Calif., are saying no to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and it’s leading to some embarrassing high profile incidents, including the arrests by federal agents of 63 illegal immigrants shortly after the county set them free.
As part of an ordinance passed last November, ICE agents are barred from all Santa Clara County prison facilities.
WND previously was told by a Santa Clara County official that there have been no high-profile embarrassing incidents as a result of the ordinance.
But federal officials are reporting ICE agents arrested 63 people – all with ICE detainers that had been ignored by Santa Clara County – in just one recent raid.
The San Jose Mercury News recently described the federal agency’s snub of county plans, saying, “In an apparent end-around Santa Clara County’s new immigration policy, federal agents [swept] into the South Bay last week, arrested 63 undocumented residents recently released from jail and now are seeking to deport them.”
The report said, “The action comes two months after the county enacted a sweeping policy to reduce its role in aiding the federal deportation effort, and provoked outrage among community activists.”
Among those detained in the raids, ICE released the descriptions of four especially bad players, including:

“A Mexican national convicted earlier this year of felony possession of heroin for sale who was sentenced to six months in prison.”
“A 49-year-old male Mexican national convicted in 2011 of child molestation.”
“A 29-year-old male Mexican national with prior convictions for kidnapping and cocaine possession.”
“A 48-year-old woman from Mexico with 13 aliases who has prior felony convictions for forgery and misuse of an entry document. Having been removed from the United States five times, she now faces federal prosecution for felony re-entry after deportation.”
It was in November of 2011 when the Santa Clara County Board passed a plan that largely mirrored legislation passed in Cook County, Ill. Ostensibly, the legislation ended each county’s cooperation with the process of ICE detainers.

Planning for Islamic caliphate to begin

A senior fellow for a Madrid-based think tank is alerting freedom-loving people about a caliphate-planning conference being held by Muslims soon, a move he said was given a boost of support by the Obama administration recently when it allowed a three-day “Istanbul Process” conference in Washington.

That event, writes Soeren Kern, Senior Fellow for European Politics at Madrid’s Grupo de Estudio, “gave the [Organization of Islamic Cooperation] the political legitimacy it has been seeking to globalize its initiative to ban criticism of Islam.” 
The coming event, Caliphate Conference 2012, is being organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir, which Kern describes as a “pan-Islamic extremist group that seeks to establish a global Islamic state, or caliphate, ruled by Islamic Shariah law.”
The 57-member OIC has been proposing a special international law that would make it criminal to speak ill of Muhammad or his followers for years, but it never was successful under its earlier plans that were portrayed as a ban on the “defamation of religions.” Actually, support for the idea had started waning.
But then it proposed Resolution 16/18, a plan for countries to “combat” things like “intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of … religion and belief.” The idea was adopted in the U.N. General Assembly just a few weeks ago and Kern’s analysis notes that it would be largely ineffectual as long as the West doesn’t jump behind it.
That is why it was a “diplomatic coup,” according to Kern, when Obama held the three-day conference in Washington, where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton committed to the key principal Muslims have been seeking for years: holding people responsible when “free speech” … “results in sectarian clashes.”

Judges:  Citizens can't stop Judges from imposing Muslim Sharia Law

The Washington Times has confirmed an LA Times report that Muslim Sharia law can be imposed by liberal judges upon the citizens of Oklahoma, despite 70% of voters demanding limits upon liberal judges, to stop them from applying foreign law above their allegiance to the U.S. Constitution.

"The U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, in a ruling released Tuesday, affirmed an order by a district court judge in 2010 that prevented the voter-approved state constitutional amendment from taking effect. The ruling also allows a Muslim community leader in Oklahoma City to continue his legal challenge of the law's constitutionality.

"The measure, known as State Question 755, was approved with 70% of the vote in 2010. The amendment would bar courts from considering the legal precepts of other nations or cultures.  'Specifically, the courts shall not consider international law or sharia law,' the law reads.

"The appellate court opinion pointed out that proponents of the law admitted to not knowing of a single instance in which an Oklahoma court applied sharia law or the legal precepts of other countries.

"'This serves as a reminder that these anti-sharia laws are unconstitutional and that if politicians use fear-mongering and bigotry, the courts won't allow it to last for long,' said Muneer Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma. Awad sued to block the law, contending that it infringed on his 1st Amendment rights. (Stephen Ceasar, Los Angeles Times, January, 10, 2012)."

[Chaps question:  When citizens try to limit the power of activist judges, by specifically voting to limit their jurisdiction, what can stop those same judges from ruling the people don't have power to limit judges?  It's time to impeach a few judges, folks.]   
Not surprisingly, Judges don't think people have power to limit judicial tyranny.

Adams continued:  "Currently there are over a dozen states that have introduced legislation banning foreign law on the state level - including the state I represent, Florida...[it has] become a fixture of the confirmation process for Supreme Court justices. In her 2010 confirmation hearing, Elena Kagan was questioned by Senator Charles E. Grassley, an Iowa Republican, who asked if she thought international law should factor into a federal court’s decision-making process. She confirmed that she did, stating: 'I think it depends. There are some cases in which the citation of foreign law, or international law, might be appropriate.'

"This kind of practice begs the question: Are we going to allow our court systems to dictate our policymaking process based off of foreign sources or are we going to go through the proper channels prescribed by our Constitution? We must remember that we have an American judicial system in place for a reason; it is based off of our country’s rich history and it is intentionally unique to our great nation. As we move forward as a country, we must work to protect it."

The liberal media are now officially shameless.
The blatant lying and willful misdirection by the left-wing press on the ObamaCare mandate that forces religious institutions to pay for services that violate their doctrines is simply mind-blowing.

A Washington Post page A1 headline opined this week that "Birth control has  become a surprise  obsession among the GOP presidential candidates this year."
Oh really? Let’s get the facts straight. First, it was Barack Obama that started this discussion when he declared war on people of faith and family values by compelling employers – including Catholic schools and hospitals – to provide not just birth control, but sterilization and abortifacients.
Obama’s willing accomplices in the media had already laid the groundwork for him to deflect his attack on religious freedom back on Republicans. Weeks earlier, former Bill Clinton spinmeister and committed leftist George Stephanopoulos peppered Republicans with absolutely pointless and idiotic questions about contraception during a GOP debate. What seemed like a strange obsession by Stephanopoulos at the time makes more sense now that we’ve seen the left-wing media aligned in their efforts to turn Obama’s assault on the free exercise of religious into an attack on conservatives.
Conservatives are standing up for religious liberty, NOT “obsessing” over contraception.
We take very seriously the first right guaranteed in the Bill of Rights, and we will not allow Obama and his friends in the media to divert attention from this act!

Make no mistake, this is no accident. As gas prices, unemployment, our debt, and our deficit go through the roof, Obama and the left-wing media are desperate to change the subject. And if they can undermine family values and spit in the eye of people of faith in the process, that makes it even more fun for them.

During Wednesday’s GOP debate in Arizona, the liberal media AGAIN lied about this issue, asking Republicans if and why they oppose contraception.
Fortunately, every candidate denounced the liberal media’s shameless deception campaign.
Newt Gingrich correctly pointed to the hypocrisy of the elite media lying in order to portray Republicans as a bunch of radicals, when in 2008 they shrunk away from asking then candidate Obama why he had supported infanticide as a state senator in Illinois.
The double standard is mind-boggling. The media found nothing extreme about Obama’s radical views then and they don’t now.

This is an outrage on a massive, unprecedented scale. It is one thing to distort the truth or cover up liberal scandals in order to advance a left-wing agenda. We wonder if that includes SOPA, and PIPA, two horrible pieces of legislation that were vehemently opposed by the public? Or, does it include other bills drafted behind closed doors that we know nothing about?

As with Obamacare, we may not know exactly what is in the bill until it is passed. (And, that is presumably the way Reid wants it!)

     Coincidence or not, one thing is certain, with still more legal challenges on Obama's eligibility in the pipeline and the findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse scheduled to be released in about a week, Barack Obama knows that he's not out of danger. He knows that he's still on the ropes and that's precisely why Barack Obama is still so desperately trying to make the eligibility issue to go away!

     The Usurper-in-Chief, has the audacity to run for reelection to an office he may not have been eligible to hold in the first place. He's already spent millions of dollars to shut you down and shut you up. Is it unreasonable to ask if he's also willing to use your hard-earned tax dollars to "grease" the wheels as well?

Madness after girl, 4, draws gun pic at school

A father has been arrested, strip-searched and hauled in for questioning – all because his four-year-old daughter drew a picture of a gun at school.

“I’m picking up my kids and then, next thing you know, I’m locked up,” Jessie Sansone, 26, told the Waterloo Region Record in Canada. “I was in shock. This is completely insane. My daughter drew a gun on a piece of paper at school.” 
Sansone, a Kitchener resident, had arrived at Forest Hill public school to pick up his children when he was called to the principal’s office. Three police officers informed him he was being charged with possession of a firearm. Then he was escorted out of the school, handcuffed and locked in the back of a police car.
According to Sansone, he didn’t learn what had caused the investigation until hours after his arrest. Other officers arrived at his home, where they instructed his wife to come to the police station and took his other three children to Family and Children’s Services to be questioned.
“Nobody was given any explanation,” Sansone’s wife, Stephanie Squires, told the paper. “I didn’t know why he was being arrested. He had absolutely no idea what this was even about. I just kept telling them. ‘You’re making a mistake.’”
Sansone was forced to undergo a full strip search.
The school principal, police and child welfare officials said there would need to be an investigation to determine whether he had a gun in his home that children could find.
Alison Scott, executive director of Family and Children’s Services, told the Record, “From a public safety point of view, any child drawing a picture of guns and saying there’s guns in a home would warrant some further conversation with the parents and child.”

My Apology to Afghan President Karzai on Behalf of America

Quite the contrary, he makes apologizing look easy. I want to be a part of the new international tone that Mr.Obama is setting with his sensitivity. I’d like to help. I’ve been inspired by our President’s sensitivity regarding international manners over the last few days…espeicially the courage he has shown in quickly issuing apologies to President Karzai of Afghanistan in the wake of the story about our military burning Korans outside of a detention facility.  Our President is not afraid to apologize. Quite the contrary, he makes apologizing look easy. I want to be a part of the new international tone that Mr.Obama is setting with his sensitivity. I’d like to help. Dear President Karzai:
I’ve seen in the news the anger and frustration your people are expressing after it was discovered that members of our military burned copies of the Koran outside an American detention facility. Your people were outraged.  I was outraged too and I’d like to express my sincere apologies.  I am sorry, President Karzai. I am sorry that your penchant for raising and harboring terrorist enemies of the United States has made it necessary for us to be in your crappy, corrupt, backwards country for as long as we’ve been there.  I’m sorry that the politically correct, blame-America first crowd has so infected our military operations that the rules of engagement make it impossible for us to just quickly level the bad guys there and leave.  I’m sorry that you run a nation of men who would kill and have killed over the printed words on a page but who have no problem whatsoever with sewing a 12-year-old girl’s vagina shut so she can’t “sin” or beheading homosexuals. 

I’m sorry that your homegrown terrorist detainees use your own Holy texts, provided by our taxpayers here in the US, to send covert/coded messages back and forth. I’m sorry that our soldiers must intercept those messages and destroy them in order to keep our own personnel safe.  I’m sorry that while you live in the lap of luxury on our foreign aid dollars your own people are starving and dying in abject poverty.

  I’m sorry that your religion has left you completely incapable of seeing the irony in your feigned outrage at the burning of 4 Korans while you imprison and even execute anyone in your country who has the audacity to get themselves raped or leave Islam for another faith. I’m sorry that our President would make such a public spectacle of apologizing for the burning of books containing secret prisoner communications while giving you and your armed forces a pass on murdering our own military personnel in cold blood. I’m sorry that your culture finds it acceptable for grown men to leave off caring for their families in order to stand around for days shooting guns, burning American flags and calling our President names like “Black Dog”.

 I’m sorry our President sees more value in apologizing to those men than standing up for American interests and freedoms. Mostly, President Karzai, I’m sorry that we don’t have a leader with enough balls to tell you to kindly take your fake moral outrage and your terrorist sensibilities and shove them both where the sun don’t shine: and I’m not talking about those caves you use to house your Taliban allies.

The Tea Party Express endorsed Indiana US Senate candidate Richard Mourdock is being attacked by establishment Republican Senator Dick Lugar. The irony is that Lugar is criticizing Mourdock claiming that he is supported by DC insiders.   This coming from a 36 year incumbent that epitomizes the DC beltway mentality. This coming from a guy that that has not even lived in Indiana, the state he claims to represent, since 1977. 

Dick Lugar is desperately trying to hide his out of touch voting record on issues important to Hoosiers Republicans: his votes to raise the debt ceiling, continue pork-barrel ‘earmark’ spending, bailout private industry at taxpayers’ expense, support liberal judicial appointments and provide amnesty to illegal immigrants.

Lugar cannot run on the merits of his record so he has resorted to distortions and outright lies.

We must stand with the Tea Party candidate Mourdock and defend him against the attacks by Lugar - the DC insider.   Indiana deserves to be represented better in the Senate and America needs a true conservative at this crucial time in our nation's history.

The cold hard truth about the oil rip off...we are being snookered!

It cost about 26 cents to produce one gallon of regular gasoline, taxes are about 11 and a quarter cents for every one cent of cost. so 26 x 11 = 2.86 + 0.26(cost) = $3.12, there you have it  we pay 10 times more in taxes than the product itself..
Now that we cleared up that issue...Let's address how many gallons of gasoline is produced from one barrel of crude oil....
 There are 42 gallons of oil in an oil barrel, so I first thought that there would then be 42 gallons of gasoline in a barrel as well. But as I looked into it it quickly became more complicated that that.

Oil is complex mixture of hydrocarbons (mostly alkanes) of various lengths of which only some are of the length that make up gasoline. It is also turned into diesel fuel, jet fuel, solvents, fertilizers, pesticides, and plastics. Since gasoline doesn't make up the whole barrel, it then seemed like a good idea to figure out what percentage of the barrel was turned into gasoline.

 About 10% of the product of the distillation of crude oil is a fraction known as straight-run gasoline. That would mean that a barrel of oil would produce 4.2 gallons of gasoline. It also depends on the type of oil, as Venezuelan crude yields little gasoline (about 5%), whereas Texas or Arabian crude yields about 30% gasoline.

Given the differences I took a look at what the average barrel of oil produces. American Petroleum Institute reports that 1 barrel of oil produced 19.4 gallons of gasoline per barrel based on average yields for U.S. refineries in 2000.  
If straight-run gasoline only makes up 2-13 gallons per barrel, how did the average get to 19.4 or 18.5? That lead me to read these really interesting articles on oil refining and cracking. Using catalysts, heat, steam and or hydrogen complex organic molecules (e.g. kerogens or heavy hydrocarbons) are broken down into simpler molecules (e.g. light hydrocarbons) by the breaking of carbon-carbon bonds in the precursors.

From Chevron:

Today, some refineries can turn more than half of every 42-gallon barrel of crude oil into gasoline. That's a remarkable technological improvement from 70 years ago, when only 11 gallons of gasoline could be produced.

So it looks like using cracking you can turn 1/2 of a barrel of oil into gasoline or 21 gallons.
Or maybe even higher as Cars.com reports:

More than half of the gasoline used in the United States today is produced by cracking, most by a fluid catalytic cracking process that uses alumina-silica gel powders as catalysts.

By combining all of these processes, 100 liters (26 gallons) of crude oil can yield slightly more than 100 liters of gasoline.

100 liters of crude = 100 liters of gasoline, that would get us back to the 42 gallon mark.

So in summary the oil companies are ripping us off...as well as government taxes on the gas as shown above... the actual cost of producing one gallon of gas ! There you have it boys and girls...we have over two hundred years of fossil fuel available within the US alone...so why the big rush for so called green energy...there is plenty of time to develop this new energy!

Russia warns Israel not to attack Iran

Russia warned Israel on Wednesday that attacking Iran would be a disastrous and played down the failure of a UN nuclear agency mission to Tehran, saying there is still a chance for new talks over the Iranian atomic program.
“Of course any possible military scenario against Iran will be catastrophic for the region and for the whole system of international relations,” Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told a news conference.
It was one of Russia’s starkest warnings against resorting to force, an option Israel and the United States have not ruled out if they conclude that diplomacy and increasing sanctions will not stop Iran from developing a nuclear bomb.
“I hope Israel understands all these consequences … and they should also consider the consequences of such action for themselves,” Gatilov said. “I hope a realistic approach will prevail, along with a sensible assessment.”
