Feds sued for hiding details of Haditha attack:

The legal team that defended a Marine officer accused of crimes after members of his battalion were ambushed in Haditha, Iraq, and caught in a firefight for their lives now is suing the federal government for allegedly hiding information about the attack for political reasons.
The lawsuit has been filed by the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Washington names the U.S. Department of State as a defendant for "failing to provide records in its possession concerning an insurgent attack against U.S. Marines in Haditha, Iraq, on Nov. 19, 2005."
The attack resulted in the deaths of Iraqi civilians who were put into the line of fire by insurgents who were trying to ambush U.S. Marines. The military reviewed the circumstances before commending the Marines.
However, after politicians, mostly notably the late U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., got involved, the military filed charges against eight of the Marines. Among them was Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani, who was defended by the Thomas More Law Center.

With Herman Cain out of the race, is Michele Bachmann poised for a second surge? And is there a biblical precedent for electing a woman president?
Many people forget that Michele Bachman had a first surge that briefly made her the GOP presidential primary frontrunner.
She appealed to secular conservatives due to positions espousing smaller government and low taxes. Evangelical Christians loved her unashamed positions on issues of faith.
But somewhere along the way, "buyer's remorse" set in. Some evangelicals questioned the biblical teachings on women submitting to their husbands, wondering if they might be sinning by supporting and voting for a woman president.
So, the question is: Is there a biblical precedent for a woman president?

All aboard the GOP chu -chu....!

I am just at a loss for words...how many times do we have to go down the line riding the same ol same old GOP chu-chu...Yeppers they (GOP& @foxnews) pushed John McCain down our throats...now they are pushing Newt/Romney...C'mon boys and girls...enough is enough already...we need new fresh oil to make the push rods work properly...our only salvation since @SarahPalinUSA dropped out is Michelle Bachmann,Santorum or Perry...please no more Mickey Mouse chu-chu's leading us down a broken rail...cue>

Obama "Recovery": unemployment rate "falls" -- because work force shrinks

Before President Obama and Washington rejoice over the newly announced decrease in the unemployment rate they need to face a harsh reality: America is still not gaining jobs.
In fact, the main reason unemployment “fell” is because the workforce has shrunk.
The Bureau of labor statistics reported this morning that the unemployment rate fell by 0.4% to 8.6%—what the Obama Administration would call a success. However, one key fact was left out of this report: the work force has decreased immensely since President Obama has taken office.
Those who have given up looking for jobs are not included in unemployment statistics.
“We lost the equivalent of the entire city of Pittsburgh, PA in the labor force last month alone. This is unacceptable,” Reince Preibus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, announced via twitter.
